VARP Shooting Tournament Registration Policies and Disclaimers

By registering and attending a Virginia Association of Roofing Professionals (VARP) Sporting Clays Tournament, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk: Participants understand that participating in a sporting clays tournament involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of injury or death. Participants voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to participate in the tournament at their own risk.
2. Safety Regulations: Participants agree to comply with all safety regulations and instructions provided by tournament organizers, range officials, and staff. Failure to adhere to safety guidelines may result in disqualification from the tournament and removal from the premises.
3. Release of Liability: Participants release and discharge VARP, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during or as a result of the tournament.
4. Use of Likeness: Participants grant VARP full permission in perpetuity to use their name, likeness, and image resulting from  photography/video filming at the event, and any reproductions or adaptations for publicity or other purposes to achieve VARP's mission.  This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in VARP's printed publications and in online publicity, social media, and press releases.
5. Medical Treatment: In the event of injury or medical emergency, participants authorize VARP to seek and obtain necessary medical treatment on their behalf. Participants are responsible for any associated medical expenses.
6. Code of Conduct: Participants agree to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and adhere to the tournament's rules and the VARP Code of Conduct. Any violation may result in disqualification and removal from the premises.
7. Cancellation or Modification: VARP reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule the tournament for any reason, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants may be entitled to a refund or alternative arrangements.

By completing the registration process, participants affirm that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this disclaimer.
