The Virginia Association of Roofing Professionals is the only trade association in Virginia solely dedicated to advancing and promoting roofing and related industry professionals in Virginia. We are a non-partisan, non-profit organization supported by voluntary membership dues. The Association's mission is to advance the roofing industry in Virginia through education, advocacy, workforce development, and by promoting high business and ethical standards.

Contractors, Suppliers, Manufacturers & Reps, Engineers, Consultants, or anyone that manufactures and/or sells roofing and waterproofing products and/or services shall be eligible for membership upon application submission and payment of dues as provided in the By-Laws.
Any person, firm or corporation not otherwise eligible for membership as a Roofing Professional shall be eligible for Associate membership, with no voting privileges. They can become eligible for membership upon written application submission and payment of dues.

All Association members are vetted by the Board of Directors before they can join the organization. VARP membership conveys professionalism.

Roofer Training Program - VARP administers a ProCert prep class for roofing employees at Tidewater Community College with plans to expand statewide in the near future.
Annual Summer Convention: The Annual Summer Convention allows members and guests to enjoy a family-oriented convention each Summer. Attendees have the opportunity to exchange ideas and information through networking, socializing with old and new friends and enjoying the many recreational activities and social events with their families…
Regional Events: Regional networking events, including informal happy hours and ‘lunch and learn’ programs, provide opportunities for members to network and socialize with their fellow roofing professionals. Annual sponsors allow us to provide complimentary drinks and appetizers to attendees.
