VARP's Workforce Development Committee, chaired by Scott Shufflebarger, is meeting this Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10 a.m. via Zoom. All VARP members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The first part of the meeting will feature Jeff Sluss, Executive Director of SkillsUSA Virginia. Mr. Sluss will be talking with us about how to get roofing into the local public school systems. Any members who may be interested in sponsoring a local high school should plan to attend. This is a great way to create your own pipeline of employees!
The second part of the meeting will discuss other VARP workforce development activities going on this year and how to get involved.
