    About

This sporting clays event is designed for both experienced shooters and novices. Proceeds support VARP’s workforce development efforts, including the purchase of collateral for promoting roofing careers to high school students. Companies are encouraged to sponsor generously and use the event to entertain clients and reward their star employees. The tournament will consist of 5-person teams, 100 targets per person, and 15 stations. Registration is limited to 15 teams. New this year: each team will get a golf cart and entry into the Turkey Shoot Contest.  Prizes will be given for the “Top Gun” and the top 3 teams. Because team registrations are limited, preference will be given to teams with at least one VARP member.  Registration is limited. Your team is not confirmed until your payment is received by VARP.  If you do not receive a receipt, your team is not considered reserved.

    Volunteers Needed

Fifteen volunteers are needed as "trappers" for the course, which includes pushing the buttons to release the clay targets and assisting shooters with their scorecards. Volunteers will be out on the course from around Noon-4pm, so it is recommended they dress for the weather forecast for the day and to wear comfortable shoes (volunteers will be driven to their assigned station on the course by the volunteer coordinators). Ear and eye protection as well as a chair for each volunteer will be provided. If you prefer you can wear your personal glasses/sunglasses as well as bring your own bag/folding chair for comfort. Volunteers may register through the registration link or contact the VARP office with any questions.
